The South Middleton School District is governed by a Board of School Directors comprised of nine members elected by the citizens of the South Middleton Township. Each member serves a four-year term. The major responsibility of the Board is to represent the community by providing policy and budgetary vision and direction for the school district.
Parents and residents are encouraged to attend the Board's business and committee meetings. Formal action is taken only at the business meetings. Business meeting agendas provide two opportunities for questions, comments, or suggestions from the public.
