Welcome to the spring semester. My name is Mrs. Kristi Elder. I am a mother of two beautiful daughters age 5 and 2. I am a member of the high school science department here at Boiling Springs High School. I teach both Biology and Chemistry as I hold both instructional certificates. I have my B.S in Biology from Dickinson College ('01), my Biology Instructional Certificate & my Chemistry Instructional Certificate as well as my M. Ed in Curriculum (Biology) and Instruction from Shippensburg University ('08). The world of science is amazing! It is constantly changing with technological advances that will impact and improve our society. It is my hope that students will learn about and appreciate/enjoy the sciences through their coursework.
