The following professional and support staff positions are available in the South Middleton School District as of January 17, 2012:
W.G. Rice Elementary School -No Vacancies Iron Forge Educational Center -No Vacancies Yellow Breeches Middle School -Secondary Guidance Counselor - Long-Term Substitute from 2/6/12 through the end of the 2011-2012 school year. Secondary Guidance Counselor Certification required.
-8th Grade Communications Arts Teacher - Short-Term Substitute from approximately 4/13/12 to the end of the 2011-2012 school year. English Certification required.Boiling Springs High School -Mathematics Teacher - Short-Term Substitute from approximately 4/13/12 through the end of the 2011-2012 school year. Mathematics Certification required.
-French Teacher - Short-Term Substitute from approximately 4/18/12 through the end of the 2011-2012 school year. French Certification required.Special Education Day-to-Day substitutes are needed for the following:
-Substitute Health Aides - Must hold a valid PA Registered Nurses' License
-Substitute Teachers - All areas of PA certification
-Substitute Custodians - First and second shifts
-Substitute Special Education AidesAthletics -Head JV Softball Coach
-Assistant JV Softball Coach
Anyone interested in applying for these positions should forward a letter of interest, completed application, letters of reference, and current Acts 34, 151 and FBI clearances to Dr. Patricia B. Sanker within fifteen (15) days of this notification. All applicants will be considered with the Administration recommending the most qualified individuals to the Board of School Directors.
Applicants for professional positions should also include a completed Pennsylvania Standard Application for Teaching, resume', transcripts, and copy of PA certification.
